The shot demonstrates flattening in a couple of areas, possibly the results of a collosion with a hard surface following firing. It is a light to mid grey colour with an uneven surface patina. It has a diameter of 14.00mm and weighs 16.1grams. Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.

An incomplete sole from a handmade child's shoe, of Early Modern Dating (Late 19th Century) The shape of the sole is similar to a dumbell (two rounded ends, joined together by a narrow waist). It consists of three layers of leather. The leather layers have been joined by thin copper alloy rivets, riveted through the base. The rivets form a line rounding around the edge of the base. A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix, of Late Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (18th to 19th Centuries AD). The seal matrix is sub oval in plan, and rectangular in profile. The reverse is plain, and there are no clear methods of attachment present. The front of the matrix exhibits a crown at the top, with a circular legend below, surrounding three legs, with spurs on the feet, joined at the thigh. The end cap is circular in plan, and semi circular in cross section. It consists of a hollow cast copper alloy ball, with an attachment hole on the underside. The hole is circular in plan.
