An incomplete decorated sheet copper alloy furniture fitting or possible book mount, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The furniture fitting is approximately 50% complete, with the majority of the left side of it present. The right side and parts of the lower side are missing, presumably lost in antiquity. It would appear that the furniture fitting had been bent in half, as the remnants of the fold is present down the centre of the fitting.
