A complete cast copper alloy strap loop / fitting, of probable Medieval dating (c.1350 - c.1450 AD). The strap loop is D shaped or semi-circular in plan, and D shaped in cross section. It consists of a semi circular frame with bevelled exterior edges. The strap bar is recessed, with a circular cross section. Possible remnants of an iron are present wrapped around the exterior edge. An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy bag seal, of probable Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (1700 to 1900 AD). The bag seal consists of two sub circular discs of lead or lead alloy pressed together. Approximately 50% of the front disc is present, with a stamped design. Only the letter H survives of the original design, with a floral design above and a pelleted border. The back is plain and undecorated. The bag seal is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 22.09mm in diameter and 5.12mm thick. It weighs 4.8 grams.
