An incomplete cast copper alloy rectangular double looped buckle, of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval (c.1400 - c. 1600 AD). Approximately 35% of the buckle frame is present, consisting of one side. The central bar and the opposite loop are missing. The frame fragment is U-shaped in plan, with a flat side and projecting arms top and bottom. In cross section, the frame is rectangular. An incomplete cast copper alloy composite buckle, with central forked spacer of Medieval dating (c.1350 to c. 1450 AD). The spacer frame is oval in plan with a lentoid projection (oval knop) at one end and two linear stepped projections at the other. In profile the spacer frame is sub rectangular and in cross section it is oval. A small recess is present between the spacers, for the pin to be attached. A cast copper alloy single looped D shaped buckle with a separate rectangular strap plate of medieval date (c.1350 to 1450 AD). The buckle has unfortunately broken into four parts: The buckle frame, the plate, and the pin (two pieces). The buckle frame is broadly D shaped in plan, with a broad D shape cross section. A complete folded sheet metal copper alloy buckle plate from a single loop buckle, of late Medieval dating (1350 - 1450 AD). The buckle plate consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy metal, with two surviving copper alloy rivets. The buckle plate is sub rectangular in plan, and irregular in cross section. The left hand exhibits a fold in the metal, which would have originally gone round the central spindle (bar) of the buckle. A rectangular slot (5.48mm wide) has been cut for the buckle pin.
