A cast copper alloy single looped D shaped buckle with a separate rectangular strap plate of medieval date (c.1350 to 1450 AD). The buckle frame is broadly D shaped in plan, with a broad D shape cross section. At the centre of the frame, a single angular pointed projection with a U shaped notch as pin rest is present. The strap bar is off set. Folded around the strap bar is a buckle plate formed from sheet metal. A complete cast copper alloy double looped asymmetrical buckle, of Early Post Medieval dating (c.1575 - c.1700 AD). Only the frame is present, the pin and buckle plate are missing. The buckle is asymmetrical in shape. It exhibits six lobed knops (quite worn) on the ouside edge of the rectangular loop.
