An incomplete cast copper alloy bow and fantail brooch, of Roman dating (50 to 150 AD). Approximately 75% of the brooch is present. The head loop and pin are missing. The wings are complete with a rolled complete casing holding the axis bar for the hinged pin. The pin is incomplete and housed within a cut notch between the two rolled cylindrical casings.
