An incomplete cast copper alloy enamelled mount or stud of probable Roman dating (1 AD to 410 AD). The mount is square in plan, with a raised central ridge on the front. Symmetrical decoration is present on either side of this ridge, consisting of two pointed oval / petals joined together at the circular bulbous end, with the points angled towards the corners. Remnants of red enamel are present at the short ends of the mount, and remnants of a yellow enamel in the middle.
