An incomplete cast (or possibly wrought) copper alloy nail cleaner with lugs sub-group B , of Roman dating (Mid-Late 1st Century). The nail cleaner is sub rectangular in plan, and flat in cross section. It consists of a sub rectangular blade with tapering long sides, slowly widening towards the top. The blade continues into a sub lozenge shaped shoulder, before expanding into a sub circular suspension loop. The suspension loop is in the same plane as the rest of the nail cleaner. A complete wrought or hand forged copper alloy nail, of probable Roman dating (1st to 4th Centuries AD). The nail consists of a flattened circular head, and a circular sectioned shank. The shank demonstrates a minor degree of faceting, suggesting that it was originally wrought from a larger more angular piece. The tip of the nail is triangular in shape, with the facets extending up the shank of the nail. The nail is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina. An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring, of Roman dating (2nd to 3rd Centuries AD). The finger ring is approximately 50% complete, missing the back part of the hoop. The front part with intaglio setting is present. The intaglio is missing. The hoop is D section and flares at the shoulders into a wide flat bezel. A shallow recessed oval setting is present approximately centrally in the bezel, this would have been the setting for an intaglio, now missing.
