Approximately 50% of the ampulla is present, consisting of the lower half of the vessel. The top of the vessel is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
In plan, it has a sub-circular base and the sides of the neck (now misshapen) flare slightly towards the mouth which is ragged and incomplete. The loops are missing. At the convex front there is a raised scallop shell with six obvious flaring ribs. The reverse bears several faint diagonal lines but no obvious decoration is present.

A complete lead alloy costrel-shaped ampulla of Medieval dating (Mid 13th to 14th Centuries AD).
The ampulla takes the shape of a cylindrical costrel. It has a cylindrical ribbed body, with circular ends. Crosshatching is visible between each of the ribs. The neck is located centrally, with only one of two angular suspension handles surviving. One end bears an eight petalled flower, within a circular border. A piercing is present on one side, probably using a knife, this would have been done to release the holy water.

The axe is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with an irregular shaped expanded blade that has a pronounced downward projection. The socket is sub circular in shape measuring 37.8 mm length x 27.3mm width. The butt of the axe is rectangular. As the blade expands in width it tapers in section; forming a wide even cutting edge.
The axehead measures 160 mm in length, 34.3 mm wide at the butt, 9.3 mm wide at the blade and 122.0 mm thick.

The surface has eight triangular ridges. The underside of the head is hollow with a central integral circular sectioned stud. The stud tapers to a blunt broken point. The break is not recent.
The stud is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete silvered copper alloy book clasp of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1400), Howsam type A.9.2.
Around 75% of the book clasp is present, consisting of the rectangular 'box chape' only. The lozengiform element is incomplete and the terminal is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The attachment end (box chape) is hollow and broadly rectangular although the sides flare gently outwards towards the end and the edges are at right angles to the faces. An incomplete copper alloy cruciform mount, from a book, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1500).
Around 50% of the mount is present, consisting of the central boss and two out of the four arms present. The rest is missing.
The central element is a circular domed boss. The surviving arms have concave sides and flare into trilobate terminals with circular perforations, internal diameter 1.7 mm. Around 25% of the book fitting is present. It consists of a triangular knop, a rounded area, with two rectangular knops extending from the top (the remains of a hinge). A circular-sectioned copper alloy peg is present in the centre. The reverse is uneven.
The book fitting measures 14.7 mm in length, 10.9 mm wide and 5.1 mm thick. It weighs 1.8 g.

An incomplete copper alloy hinged book clasp of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD.1400-1600).
It comprises two copper alloy plates connected by a hinge. The broader of the plates is decorative, (length: 17.5 mm x width: 21.7 mm), in form similar to a sceptred crown; although there are historic breaks, that leave the design incomplete, missing a side fleur. A complete copper alloy book mount of Howsam type B.1.4, dating to c.1150 - c.1200.
The object is lozenge-shaped and has a C-shaped cross-section. There is a flat circular knop at each of the four points; these each have a circular perforation through them (internal diameter 3.0 mm). The edge of each side flares out to meet its neighbour at the centre, forming a elongated V-shaped edge.
