A complete lead alloy costrel-shaped ampulla of Medieval dating (Mid 13th to 14th Centuries AD). The ampulla takes the shape of a cylindrical costrel. It has a cylindrical ribbed body, with circular ends. Crosshatching is visible between each of the ribs. The neck is located centrally, with only one of two angular suspension handles surviving. One end bears an eight petalled flower, within a circular border. A piercing is present on one side, probably using a knife, this would have been done to release the holy water.
