A complete cast copper alloy finger ring, probably of Early Post Medieval dating (1500-1700). The hoop is D shaped in cross section, being rounded to the external (outside edge). A complete but misshapen silver finger ring, with rectangular bezel engraved with initials 'H J S'. The hoop is plain, and the shoulders expand to the width of the bezel. Two rectangular boxes have been engraved on each shoulder. The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.14mm, internal of 18.47mm. The hoop is 2.81mm wide, and 0.81mm thick. The intaglio was possibly engraved but due to damage caused by movement in the plough soil, any engraving is hard to determine. A complete, but bent gold posy finger ring of Late Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD). The exterior of the ring with a repeating lozenge design, enclosing a fern like leaf. The finger ring consists of a sub rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet metal, with tapered ends, folded into a sub circular shape, with the tapered ends meeting. The finger ring is plain and undecorated on both sides. The probable finger ring measures 18.09 mm in length, 11.54 mm wide and 12.76mm high. The metal is 1.55 mm thick. It weighs 4.2 grams. A complete cast copper alloy finger ring of Roman date, circa AD43-200. The ring is 'stirrup shaped' with a D-sectioned hoop expanding towards the shoulders, which flares into an oval bezel. The shape of the ring falls within Guiraud Type 2g. The setting contains red enamel with a slightly raised 'III' surrounded by a curving line. The design is catagorised by Daubney as Group 5d. Dimensions: The hoop has an external diameter of 19.44mm. From the outside of the bezel to the back of the hoop is 19.66mm. The bezel is 6.64mm wide. The ring weighs 2.2g.

A complete gold possible finger ring, of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). The possible finger ring is rectangular in section and would have originally been circular in plan. It is now sub oval in plan. The hoop has been decorated with eight circular pits (now full of soil), that may have originally held something. Each pit has a diameter of 1.5 mm. Multiple vertical filemarks are present on the interior surface of the ring. The original diameter of the ring can not be determined due to it being misshapen. The exterior is plain. The interior bears the following inscription: A FRENDS GIFT. Small crosses have been used as punctuation marks. Due to being mishappen, the original diameter is hard to determine, but probably was around 19 mm. Internal diameter is around 17 mm. The hoop is 2.99 mm wide and 1.01 mm thick. It weighs 1.7 g. The finger ring is a dark yellow colour, with an even shiny surface patina.
