A fragment of lead alloy window came of post Medieval dating (AD 1500 - AD 1800). The fragment most probably represents a seal / joining sheet of lead alloy which is irregular in plan and profile. The internal surface of the fragment has a rectangular section loop of lead, presumed to secure the pane to an upright pole. The external surface has a mid grey colour and smooth surface patina. An impressed seal / design has been applied to the surface as a stamp - although this is poorly preserved and detailing has been lost through corrosion. The remains of shards of glass are retained…
