An incomplete worked flint borer, of Late Neolithic dating (2700 BC to c. 2350 BC).
The borer is sub triangular in plan, with a semi circular cross section. It has been made from a piece of tertiary debitage as none of the original cortex is present. Both the dorsal and ventral surfaces display conchoidal ripples. The base of the borer has been deliberately broken at a diagonal. Retouch is present around the apex of the borer and can be classified as Short, Parallel, Semi-abrupt.
It measures 48.5 mm in length, a maximum width of 21.4 mm and is 3.8 mm thick. It weighs 4.3 g.

A complete probable borer of probable Late Neolithic dating (2700 BC to 2200 BC).
The probable borer has been made from a dark grey flint, with no patination. Less than 50% of the surface is covered by cortex, indicating that the probable borer has been made from a secondary debitage flake. The probable borer is a pointed oval in shape. The dorsal (upper) surface exhibits controlled working, with minimal retouch (long, scaled, low angle) along the working edge. The ventral (lower) surface exhibits a bulb of percussion and a conchoidal ripples.
