An incomplete silver button, made from a silver rupee issued in the Indian Princely State of Hyderabad in the late 19th century. The coin is circular, with raised arabic script on both sides. An incomplete circular loop has been solded to the centre of the reverse, converting the coin into a button. The button has a diameter of 14.9 mm and is 4.9 mm thick. The coin is 2.2 mm thick. Around 25% of the button is present, consisting of a sheet silver decorated layer, which would have covered the button back.
