An incomplete copper alloy book or strap fitting, of probable Medieval dating (1100 to 1500 AD).
The fitting consists of two strips of copper alloy riveted together, it is sub rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross section. The upper plate is sub rectangular in plan, with bevelled outer edges, and the remnants of a hook at one end. The hook extends centrally from the end of the plate. A fragment of a probable funerary / monumental memorial brass, most likely of Medieval dating (13th to 15th Centuries AD).
The fragment appears to be either the elbow or shoulder sections of a suit of armour. The underside of the fragment exhibits grooves, presuming to aid the anchoring into stone for display.
The fragment measures 63.16mm in length, 32.53mm wide and 3.24mm thick. It weighs 28.1 grams.
Images have been sent to specialists at the Monumental Brass Society to aid identification of the fragment.

An irregular fragment of a cast copper alloy frame, probably from either an oval or annular brooch or possibly a buckle.
From the style of the decoration it is likely to date from the late medieval or early post medieval period (1300-1650).
The frame is incomplete consisting of only a small part, both edges are broken and heavily worn.

An incomplete cast copper alloy annular or ring brooch (or possibly an annular buckle) of Medieval dating (13th to 15th Centuries AD).
The brooch is circular in plan, with a rounded square cross section. The brooch frame is complete, but the pin is incomplete. There is no evidence for a constriction in the frame for fitting of the pin or of a recessed pin rest. There is no evidence for incised or applied decoration on the frame of the brooch.
Approximately 50% remains of the pin, which consists of a square sectioned piece of metal wrapped around the frame.

A cast copper alloy single looped buckle frame, of Medieval dating (14th Century AD).
The buckle frame is sub oval in plan, with two protruding corner knops . The strap bar is square in section and offset. The frame is decorated by two oval protruding corner knops, with three perpendicular grooves between them in the centre of the loop. These grooves presumably acted as the pin rest rest as well as being decorative. The back of the frame is plain and undecorated. The pin is missing, presumably lost in antiquity.

Part of a cast copper alloy buckle plate from a Late Medieval single loop trapezoidal buckle, dating from c.1350 to c. 1500.
The find consists of the front part of a folded buckle plate. It is irregular in plan, but probably originally would have been rectangular in shape. The left hand edge demonstrates two rectangular projections (one complete (12.85mm, one partially), which would have been folded around the central spindle (bar) of the buckle. A complete cast copper alloy double loop oval buckle frame, of late Medieval dating (c.1400 to 1600 AD).
The buckle frame consists of a double looped oval buckle frame, with bevelled edges to the frame. The pin and strap plate are not present. The edges of the buckle frame are raised higher than the central bar.
The buckle is a mid dark green to brown, with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion has resulted in the loss of surface detail and patina from the edges and flat surfaces.
The buckle frame measures 23.77mm in length, 19.70mm wide and 2.32mm thick. It weighs 2.3 grams.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy D shaped buckle frame, probably dating to the late Medieval period (Late 13th to Early 14th Centuries).
Approximately 25% of the buckle frame is present and consists of the upper half of the external edge of the frame. It is broadly D shaped in cross section. There appears to be an U shaped slot present, presumably the pin rest. The external edge is angled, with traces of gilding visible.
The buckle frame fragment measures 22.35mm in length, 17.84mm in width, and 3.50mm thick. It weighs 1.9 grams.

The buckle can be described in several sections: Frame, pin and plate.
