A struck flint blade of Early Mesolithic dating (8300 to 6500 BC). The blade is sub triangular in plan. The dorsal (upper) surface exhibits three main flake scars down the length of the blade. A small area of cortex is still present at the base of the blade. There is some deliberate retouch down the the right hand side, with some secondary pressure flaking down the left side. An incomplete struck / knapped flint knife, made from tertiary debitage, of Mesolithic dating (9, 000 BC to 4, 000 BC). The bladelet is sub triangular in shape, with a triangular cross section. A bulb of percussion and conchoidal ripples are present on the ventral surface. Retouch is present on the end and point and can be classified as short, parallel, low angle. It measures 30.3 mm in length, 16.8 mm wide and 3.4 mm thick. It weighs 1.8 g. The bladelet is a light grey colour, with a small amount of surface patination present.
