[VIL] LA [CALAIS] reverse type, with an extra annulet in each quarter. Annulet coinage issue, minted in Calais. North type 1432. Coin has been pierced from the reverse through to the front of the coin. Piercing located at 5 o'clock on the reverse (2 o'clock on the obverse).
