The headloop and pin are missing due to old breaks. The head is ridged and trumpet-shaped. The axis bar and part of the spring is present. The lower bow has triple plain moulded grooves. The bow tapers to a point. On the inside of the bow is a verticle ridge which is the remnants of a catchplate. The brooch is a dark green colour with an uneven patina. Length: 33.16mm.
