The weight is conical in shape with a circular cross section. A circular central perforation is present, extending from the top to the bottom of the weight.

Both sherds have a fabric similar to that described as SAND3 in Ratkai 2000, p85. It consists of a coarse sandy glazed jug type fabric with a white slip present under the glaze. This is similar to the Worcester style jugs, so is likely to be of similar dating, 12th to 13th Centuries (1100 to 1200 AD).

The sherd is 6.77mm thick and weighs 20.4g. It is 50.36mm long and 36.24mm wide. The rim diameter of the sherd is 4cm wide.
The sherd consists of a neck and rim fragment, most likely from a jug, in a light grey stoneware fabric. The exterior surface is a dark brown mottled colour with a salt glaze (orange peel glaze). An incomplete copper-alloy handle from a vessel, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1270 - c. AD 1350).
Approximately 725% of the handle is present, consisting of one of the animal head terminals. The other animal head terminal and the rectangular handle are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The zoomorphic terminal consists of a heavy separate soldered heavy collar in the form of a crude animal head defined by grooves on each side. This collar is 15.4 mm in length and is oval in cross-section. The animal head has sub oval eyes on either side of the head, with an triangular open mouth.…

An incomplete incomplete finial from a silver tea pot lid, of Late Georgian to Victorian dating (AD 1750s to AD 1900s)
Approximately 90% of the finial is present, with the base and most of the body present. The top is incomplete.
The finial originally had a biconvex body with facetted sides (creating a hexagonal shape), with a similar hexagonal base. It was originally hollow, but now contains soil from the burial environment. The object consists of seven (7) joined cast rings in hexagonal or floral arrangement. Each ring measures 6.21mm in diameter (external), 2.16mm internal diameter. The arrangement consists of a central ring with six (6) thin rectangular bars joining onto the outer circle of rings. A complete cast copper alloy 'dumb bell' shaped toggle, most likely of Late Iron Age dating. (300 BC to 100 AD).
The cyclindrial toggle consists of two domed circular ends joined together by a recessed cyclindrial bar. The larger end has faint signs of cross hatching as decoration. The slightly smaller end has a faint circle of pellets around the edge of the dome. A central ridge is present on one of the cyclindrial centre bar, which is most likely the remnants of a casting seam. The domed ends are 6mm high each.

The knop is broadly sub circular in plan and irregular in profile. The central knop / lid is broadly decorated as a flower. It has a central raised boss, located within a circle.
