An incomplete lead or lead alloy powder flask cap or measure, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD). Approximately 95% of the cap is present, with parts of the rim and a handle missing. It is sub circular in plan, and sub rectangular in cross section. Originally it would have been circular or oval in plan (as viewed from above). The design of the tamper is of a hand holding a clay pipe aloft, with two fingers above the stem, two below and the thumb near the tip balancing the pipe. The base of the tamper is scored with crossing diagonal lines. The stem has been decorated with four concentric raised rings, and it gradually widens towards the base of the tamper. A complete silver, probable dress hook, of probable Post medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1700). The probable dress hook has a basic domed triangular shape, with half spheres located at each point. A second much smaller domed triangle is positioned centrally on the base or flat side of the first, and then the base extends into a rectangular eye.
