A folded rim is present on the upper surface. The object measures 24.9 mm in diameter and is 13.1 mm thick. It weighs 51.2 grams or 1.80 ozs. The object is a light to mid grey colour with an even corroded and abraded patina that covers all surfaces.

A complete folded circular lead weight of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The lead disc is folded in half, it would have originally been circular. No decoration or inscription is visible on the exterior. It has a diameter of 29.3 mm, is 13.9 mm wide and 11.0 mm thick. It weighs 18.9 g. The probable lead weight is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Lead weights like this may have been skirt or hem weights or more likely gate weights to help close farm gates. It is probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800).
