A complete cast copper alloy bar mount with pendent loop of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 to 1700 AD). The mount consists of two parts: the bar mount and the pendent loop / ring. The bar mount is U squared in cross section, as it folds back on itself. The front of the mount consists of a square with the projecting loop at the base. A complete cast copper alloy hooked plate sword belt strap fitting, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The hooked plate is sub triangular in plate, with a hook at the top. The hook bends forwards and has a globular terminal. Below this is a rivet hole containing the remains of an iron rivet. The plate is ornately shaped and is decorated with scrolls. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting / belt mount of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The mount is irregular in plan. It has a central circular shape, with evidence of a six (6) petalled flower in the centre. Triangular extensions are present at the top and bottom of the central circular area. Traces of gilding survive on the front of the mount. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Two (2) incomplete circular sectioned attachment spikes are present on the rear of the mount. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Post Medieval dating (1500 to 1700 AD). The belt hook is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at either end, with a rounded nose, and circular eye. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central ridge, with two (2) oval annulets to either side of a short raised bar. An incomplete cast copper alloy fragment from a hooked strap fitting of probable post-medieval date (AD 1500 - AD 1700). The strap fitting is broadly sub-rectangular in plan. The fitting can be divided into two separate parts; the body and the hooked terminal. The hooked terminal is lost and the break is worn and eroded suggested a relatively old break. The body of the fitting is sub-rectangular in plan; however it does taper and flare along its length terminating in a flared debased trefoil. No hooked mounts present. Tri-lobed knop at one end and two sub oval protruding suspension loops. The plate has a foliate decoration. The strap fitting is sub triangular in plan in a moulded trefoil shape with foliate recessed decoration. The strap fitting has a rearward facing hook with a spherical knop.
