An incomplete lead alloy or tin alloy end cap from a whistle, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). Around 25% of the whistle is present, consisting only of the end cap. The rest of the whistle is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The end cap is flattened, originally it would have been circular in shape. A suspension loop has been set at right angles to the body of the whistle. It has a circular hole, with an internal diameter of 2.5 mm. An incomplete cast lead alloy (pewter) pipe bowl from a toy whistle, of Post Medieval to Modern dating (1800 to 1900 AD). The pipe bowl is incomplete, missing parts of the sides. The pipe bowl has a pointed base. The lower part of the bowl has a textured background comprising very small dots (like orange peel), on top of this are a series of larger relief moulded pellets.
