An incomplete (probably clipped) silver hammered probable halfgroat of James I (1603-1625). The coin is probably from the 1st coinage dating AD1603-1604. The coin is bent and worn. Mint not known. Obverse shows a possible bust facing right with a II behind the head. The obverse legend reads []ROSA SINE [SPINA]. The reverse shows a square sheild. Reverse legend is illegible. Diameter: 17.04mm. Thickness: 0.60mm. Weight: 0.7g. Die axis not known.

The obverse shows a crowned bust facing right with XII behind the head. Possibly the 6th bust type. Obverse legend reads IACOBVS DG MAG BRI FRETHB REX. The initial mark is a trefoil. The reverse shows a square sheild with no plumes. Reverse legend reads []VE DE[]NXITN[]. Diameter: 30.74mm. Thickness: 0.87mm. Weight: 5.2g. Die axis: 8 o'clock.
