A complete copper alloy staff terminal, of early medieval to medieval dating. The terminal is circular in form, rectangular in section, hollow and with a short integrally cast rectangular socket projecting from its base. It has openwork decoration on both sides consisting of a ten pointed star with curved lines connecting each point. A central projection knop is present. Multiple small sub circular projecting knops or pellets are present as decoration along each curve and point. An incomplete copper alloy terminal from a rowel spur arm, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The fragment consists of a heart shaped terminal, with two circular perforations (holes). The spur arm has a D shaped cross section, with a flat reverse. Beneath the heart shaped terminal is a moulded rectangular collar, with a horizontal V shaped groove across it as decoration. The remains of the oval sectioned arm is present below the collar. An incomplete copper alloy rowel from a rowel spur, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1300). The rowel is star shaped, with six spokes. Each spoke is triangular with a circular cross section. The tips are missing from some of the spokes. A sub circular perforation is present at the centre of the rowel. This has an internal diameter of 3.7 mm. It measures 21.6 mm in length, 19.5 mm wide and 3.6 mm thick. It weighs 2.8 g. The rowel is a mid green colour, with an uneven surface patina. An incomplete copper alloy rowel spur, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). Around 50% of the spur is present, consisting of the neck, rowel box and half of both arms. The rowel and terminals are no longer present, presumably lost in antiquity. An incomplete copper alloy star spur rowel, of Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1600 - c. AD 1660). Around 3/5th of the rowel is present, consisting of 3 out of the original 5 points. The rowel is flat on both faces, with bevelled edges. It would have originally had five evenly spaced fleur-de-lis points forming a star shape.
