A complete copper alloy domed / beehive thimble of Late Medieval dating (c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1550) The thimble is of the beehive or domed shape, and is sub circular in shape. A series of circular holes or indentations have been punched around the sides in horizontal and vertical lines, in a left hand spiral pattern. The indentations are in a circular pattern, with three central spaced pits, on the domed top. The lower edge is incomplete and not a smooth edge.
