An incomplete silver finger ring of Roman date, probably 3rd Century AD.
Around 25% of the finger ring is present, consisting of part of the bezel, a shoulder and the start of the hoop.
The bezel was originally rectangular in shape, with a recessed border around the edge. The end part of the inscription is present, consisting of the letters 'MT'. This is probably the end of an dedication to either Mars or Mercury. The hoop was probably keeled. The shoulders have been decorated with seven grooved mouldings, creating a ridged effect.
