An incomplete copper alloy finger ring, of possible Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410).
Less than 50% of the finger ring is present, consisting only of the bezel and the start of the shoulders.
The bezel is circular in shape, with faceted sides. On top, a soldier standing facing, holding spear or vertical sceptre in left hand. The reverse of the bezel has a horizontal groove positioned centrally. The shoulders extend downwards and the hoop of the ring appears to have had a flat cross section.
It measures 9.0 mm in length, 10.9 mm wide and 5.3 mm. It weighs 1.8 g.

Approximately 50% of the finger ring is present, consisting of the bezel, shoulders and part of the hoop. The rest of the hoop is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

Around 50% of the finger ring is present, consisting of the bezel and the shoulders. The rest of the hoop is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The shoulders widen evenly and thicken slightly from the broken ends to the oval bezel and are D-shaped in section with a flat inner side and shallowly convex outer side. A complete copper alloy coiled or spiral, probable finger ring, of uncertain dating (100 BC to 800 AD).
The probable finger ring consists of a D-section length of copper alloy metal twisted into a spiral. Both ends terminated in a square end with rounded corners. No makers' marks are present on the interior or exterior.
It has an exterior diameter of 29.9 mm, an interior diameter of 21.1 mm. In total it is 13.7 mm wide. The copper alloy metal is 4.3 mm wide and 3.8 mm thick. It weighs 19.1 g.

A complete copper alloy signet finger ring, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1450 to c. AD 1650).
The bezel is sub circular in plan. The device consists of a heraldic shield. The shield depicts a central chevron, a pellet located centrally and a crescent surrounding a mullet (star) in top right hand corner. The left hand corner is hard to determine due to soil and corrosion products present. The shoulders are curved and taper straight into the hoop. The hoop is D shaped in section. The reverse of the finger ring is plain and undecorated.

A complete copper alloy finger ring, of probable Late Medieval to Late Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1700)
The hoop has a circular cross section. The shoulders have been decorated with three transverse grooves. The bezel is split into two strands, and expands into an diamond shape. At the centre of each strand is a setting for a gem or paste stone (now missing). One side of the bezel is covered with corrosion products, obscuring slightly the other setting.
