A complete cast silver signet finger ring, of Modern dating (19th Centuries AD). The finger ring is sub circular in plan. The hoop is D shaped in section. The bezel consists of a flat oval shape, set at right angles to the rest of the ring. The bezel is plain. The shoulders of the ring are decorated. The decoration starts with a double horizontal groove across the width of the hoop. An incomplete cast silver gilt finger ring, of Early Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). Less than 25% of the finger ring is present, consisting of a small section of the hoop. It consists of a strip of silver with a rectangular section. Borders are present along the upper and lower edges, consisting of a double raised ridge. It is broken at each end. Description: A complete cast silver coiled or spiral, probable finger ring, of uncertain dating (100 BC to 800 AD). The probable finger ring consists of a D-section length of silver metal twisted into a spiral. One end of the piece of silver tapers to a point, the other is square ended, probably incomplete. A complete silver stirrup finger ring, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1400). The finger ring has a D shaped hoop. The hoop rises to a flat topped pointed bezel. A gem is set into the bezel with a plain setting. The gem is oval. Under magnification, it is possible to see pitting and a conchoidal fracture in the surface of the gem, suggesting that it is probably glass as opposed to a gemstone.
