A conical lead alloy weight of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The weight is conical in form. The sides of the weight flare to the flat circular base.The upper edge has a flattened top. The base is flat. An incomplete iron suspension loop was secured through the weight. The weight is undecorated. It has a height of 32.4 mm. A complete cast lead alloy biconvex spindlewhorl which could date from the Roman to Post Medieval periods, AD43-1650. The spindlewhorl has a sub circular central hole positioned off centre with an internal diameter of 6.35mm. The upper face is decorated with four diagonal ridges separating the face into quadrants. The face is decorated with seven circular pellets in an irregular pattern. The lower face is plain. The spindlewhorl has a light grey colour with and even patina. The surface is slightly abraded. Diameter: 22.99mm. Thickness: 11.74mm. Weight: 28.9g.

A complete cast lead or lead alloy rectangular ingot, of probable Roman to Medieval dating (AD 43 to AD 1600). The ingot is rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in section. It has bevelled sides. It measures 49.29 mm in length, 20.49 mm wide and 11.11 mm thick. it weighs 90.6 grams (3.20 ounces). The ingot is a mid to dark grey colour, with an even surface patina. The base exhibits minor damage, probably from being struck by small stones and pebbles whilst within the plough soil.
