A complete gold cylindrical artefact with filigree decoration. The artefact is hollow (now filled with soil) and comprises a rectangular gold sheet rolled into a circular shape. Two 'bars' of twisted gold wire run across one open edge of the artefact, forming three 'slots' between them. Each bar is made from four fine gold wires, twisted in an SZSZ format. A complete cast copper alloy strap end, of Early Medieval dating (c. AD 900 to c. AD 1100). The strap end is of a long, narrow tongue shape. It has a series of holes and bands running down its length, giving an openwork pattern probably representing a plant design, now quite debased. There is a thicker, sturdy band forming a frame around the outer edge of the strap end, which has raised bumps on both faces at intervals along its length. A complete cast silver mount dating to the early medieval period. It is tongue-shaped, with a flat top, curved base and straight sides. The front is decorated in the Winchester Style with a pair of creatures (possibly birds or wyverns) at both top and bottom, their heads turned over their backs with a long tail that curls into the centre, where it meets a feline mask. The back is concave with a rectangular lug at the top. Two rivets are present at the base, one iron and the other silver. The top edge appears to be complete.

A total of 91 items were recorded of which 86 are early Medieval and, with three possible exceptions, probably relate to the hoard. The finds recorded consist of 38.85g of gold and 100.90g of silver, including the 79.13g cheek piece, 5004 . It must be recognised that these figures include both earth and garnets and will be reduced by cleaning and that the descriptions of the metal alloys are based only on visual examination, not analysis. An incomplete gilded silver brooch or mount dating to the late fifth to early sixth centuries. Less than 25% of the artefact survives. It has a curving edge and is decorated with Salin's Style I ornament on the front, comprising a human mask beside a spiral. Beneath this is a row of beading. The reverse is plain. An incomplete copper alloy penannular brooch of type G3 and early-medieval date. Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, with one surviving terminal. The pin is missing. The surviving terminal consists of a flattened expanded terminal, decorated by a series of ridges. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The brooch is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
