A complete cast copper-alloy circular trade weight, of Post Medieval or Modern date. It has two stamped marks on the top surface, a quartered shield of London (with sword in first quarter) and a ewer for the Founders' Company. File marks are present on the reverse. The shield of London was used from 1826. The weight measures 15.88 mm in diameter, 2.74 mm thick and weighs 2.7 g (0.10 oz). The weight is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
