The probable weight is sub square in shape, with one rounded side or terminal. Patinated breaks are present on the reverse and on the square end. Iron staining is visible, indicating it may have been secured to a larger object. The sides are triangular, curving downwards.

The object is irregular in shape. It consists of a rectangular sectioned bar with a curved hook at the end. The otherr end exhibits an elaborate moulding, possibly similar to that of a Phrygian hat. An sub oval collar sits beneath the elaborate moulding and the rectangular sectioned bar. The bar has a rectangular notch removed from one side.
It measures 34.5 mm in length, 13.0 mm wide and 8.8 mm thick. It weighs 7.2 g.

The object consists of circular sectioned rod, with one old pre-depositional break at one end. The other end has an oval shaped flattened end. No notches are present down the length of the rod. A 160 degree bend is present around a third of the length from the flattened end.

A complete but worn struck / hammered copper alloy trade token, issued by Samuel Lvdinton (of the Mercer's Arms), during the mid 17th Century (1660-1683).
Both Townsend (1983, p.40) and Williamson (1889, p461, #155) has identified this token as belong to that of Samuel Ludinton, who was mayor of the City of Lincoln in 1647 and 1660. There was another Samuel Ludinton, probably the son of the former, who held the office of Sheriff in 1681 and Mayor in 1683 (Williamson, 1889, p461). This trade token could therefore date from between 1647 to 1683.

A complete cast copper alloy sword / dagger pommel, of Early Medieval dating (5th to 8th Centuries AD).
The pommel cap is sub rectangular in plan and pyramidal in profile. It is is hollow with slightly concave sides; there are no traces of decoration. None of the rivets survive. The upper surface has a smooth mid-green patina; there are some recent scratch marks. A rectangular hole is present in the top of the pommel, for the tang of the blade to be secured.
The sword / dagger pommel measures 31.31mm in length, 14.54mm wide and 11.86mm high. It weighs 8.4 grams.

Around 75% of the mount is present, the projecting lugs are not present.
The mount is of the bar type and consists of a domed central oval, missing the two projecting lugs which held the rivets. The central oval is domed, with five horizontal grooves as decoration in the middle. The reverse is concave. The reverse is undecorated.
The mount measures 10.7 mm in length, 9.1 mm wide and is 4.1 mm thick. It weighs 1.6 grams.

An incomplete cast copper alloy rowel spur, of Post Medieval dating (c.1650 to c. 1750 AD).
Approximately 50% of the spur is present, with the arms incomplete and the rowel missing. The arms have a D shaped cross section, with the convex side outer most and the flat side inwards. The neck is complete, with an oval cross section. The 'box' for holding the rowel is complete, consisting of two D-shaped arms, with rounded knops as terminals. The arms have been pushed together, so there is no longer a space for the rowel.
