A complete gold mourning finger ring, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).
The hoop is slightly misshapen and is no longer circular in shape. The hoop is D shaped in cross section. The exterior of the hoop has been engraved with a pictoral device. This device consists of two engraved saltires with rounded ends. Between the saltires is a sub rectangular recessed section. An incomplete copper alloy dagger quillon, of Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1600).
Around 25% of the quillon is present, consisting only of the finger stop. The finger stop projects outwards at a right angle to one side of the central block. It flares in width to form a pelta shape and has rounded edges. Neither of its faces is decorated.
It measures 24.7 mm in length, 19.6 mm wide and 10.1 mm thick. It weighs 9.6 g.
The finger stop is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete copper alloy probable Awl, possibly of Bronze Age dating but could easily be later in dating (2150 BC to c. AD 1500).
The awl consists of a sub square sectioned artefact that gradually tapers from a wide centre, to a sharp point at both ends. No obvious tang is present. Faint grooves are present down each of the thicker sides.
It measures 65.4 mm in length, witha diameter of 4.0 mm. It weighs 3.2 g.
