An incomplete cast copper alloy sub oval ring, with strap fitting, probably dating to the Early Iron Age, contemporary with Hallstatt C (800 BC to 400 BC). Approximately 50% of the harness fitting remains and consists of a semi circular strap loop attached to an incomplete sub oval ring, of which only the upper half remains. The strap loop is semi circular in plan, d-shaped in cross section and is 5.69mm thick. The ring is sub oval in plan, sub circular in cross section and 9.73mm thick. An incomplete cast copper alloy terret of simple type dating to the Late Iron Age, circa 300BC-AD100. Just under half of the object survives due to old breaks. The hoop of the terret is circular in section and originally the object would have been D-shaped in plan. The object terminates with the remains of the plate bar protruding from a collar which has two moulded bands of decoration. The hoop narrows from the collar as it curves round to the apex of the terret where it terminates with a break. The surface of the hoop is undecorated. The metal is worn with a mid green patina. An incomplete copper alloy, probable miniature terret ring of probable Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (100 BC to 100 AD). The terret ring is of an unusual shape, being of a pointed oval shape. The sides have a circular cross section. A narrowed and recessed bar is present at the bottom of the terret ring. Circular collars are present at either side of the strap bar. The strap distributor is of an openwork design with a rectangular loop to either side and two joining crescents in the middle. No enamel is visible. An incomplete copper-alloy (bronze) cast horse harness fitting or strap distributor, dating from the late Iron age to the early Roman period ( c.50BC-AD50). The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. The complete rings have an internal diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.8 mm. A incomplete enamelled harness fitting of probable late Iron Age dating (100 BC to 100 AD). The harness fitting is an irregular shape, almost comma shaped, with a rounded head and a squared tail. The upper surface is flat, with five panels of enamel decoration. The rounded head has three enamel panels, each a lentoid or pointed oval shape, creating a triskele shape between them.
