An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag, of Early Medieval dating (8th to 11th Centuries AD).
The plate is triangular or shield-shaped, with squared corners at the top and curved lower edges. There is a broad groove around each of the two circular attachment holes, on one face only. The image appears also to show further very worn decoration on this face, of a line of zig-zag or rocker-arm engraving down the centre between the two holes, and a border of similar engraving around the edge of the plate. The holes have an internal diameter of 1.7 mm. The hook is slender and incomplete.

The stirrup strap mount is sub triangular in shape and irregular in cross section. The front exhibits one (1) attachment holes: positioned centrally at the apex of the mount. The lower section of the object is in the form of an animal's head with half-round nostrils at its distal end above which are two lateral projections representing the brow. A small projection between the nostrils may represent the remains of a loop for a spangle. The upper part of the foot has faceted sides and some, incised, transverse mouldings. On the brooch's underside is a longitudinal rib representing the catch plate.

Description: An incomplete circular gold setting, originally with a domed cloisonné garnet setting. The circular backplate is framed by a thin (0.4mm) outer and thicker (1.1mm) inner beaded wire. The thicker wire is carefully made with narrow even beads, but the thin wire has more oblique beads and many Aquätorschnitte, no doubt reflecting the difficulty of manufacturing such extremely fine beaded wire. A complete early medieval sceat, Series A (c.685-700). The coin appears to be quite base, and the style of the coin is not entirely consistent with Series A2 or A3, perhaps indicating this to be a contemporary imitation (cf. D M Metcalf, Thrymsas and Sceattas in the Ashmoleam Museum, pl. 5, nos.95-6.
The obverse depicts a diademed bust facing right. The reverse depicts a square with TOTII within.

A complete blue and white annular glass bead of Early Medieval dating (5th to 7th Centuries AD).
The bead has been made from an opaque white glass, with translucent dark blue glass trails as decoration on the surface. It is circular in plan. It has convex sides, with the ends flattened, almost an oblate form. Slight pitting is present on the surface. The decorative pattern consists of a central pellet within an oval border. Three pattern repeats are present. The central perforation has been located slightly off centre, it has parallel sides, with an internal diameter of 2.88 mm.

A complete lead or lead alloy, zoomorphic (bird) possible die stamp or probable casting spillage, of possible Early Medieval dating (AD 410 - AD 1066).
The probable casting spillage is irregular in plan, and rectangular in section. The front has a raised design, consisting of a bird standing on two legs, with the head and beak to the left side of the body, and tail outstretched behind. Feathers are depicted by several curvilinear lines. The reverse is plain and undecorated.
It measures 24.48 mm in length, 34.08 mm wide and 4.76 mm thick. It weighs 17.6 g.

A complete copper-alloy strap-end with silver rivets, of 9th-century date, now slightly bent.
Description: The strap-end is made from a piece of copper alloy with a split attachment end. This is shaped around two well-preserved silver rivets whose heads are of different sizes. Below the rivets is a semi-circular or fan-shaped field, engraved with a trilobate motif. When the strap-end is held with the rivets uppermost, the trilobate motif appears to be a plant with drop-shaped centre (apex upwards) with a leaf to either side.

An incomplete copper alloy possible openwork scabbard chape, of Late Early Medieval dating (11th Century AD).
The fragment consists of two irregular shaped pieces of copper alloy. A circular sectioned copper alloy rivet holds both pieces together at one end, located towards the edge of an offset semi circle. Beneath this is another offset semi circle. At the base of the second semi circle, a vertical rectangle is positioned.

A complete copper alloy stirrup terminal, of Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandiniavian) in dating (11th Century AD).
This object is sub-rectangular and 'C'-shaped in cross-section. The convex front is moulded in zoomorphic form representing a beast's head. The eyes and nose are very prominent and the mouth is absent. One eye exhibits a thin sheet of silver, as decoration. The base and back of the stirrup terminal has been enclosed by a strip of iron / iron corrosion.
It measures 40.0 mm in length, 22.1 mm wide and 18.2 mm thick. It weighs 43.6 g.
