An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy stopper from a small vessel, probably of Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (16th to 19th Centuries AD). The stopper consists of a semi-circular head, with integrally cast shank beneath. The head measures 21.03mm wide (diameter) by 15.42mm in length and 6.60mm thick. The shank extends beneath the head by 6.25mm. It is incomplete. It has a circular cross section, with a diameter of 6.76mm. It weighs 19.7 grams.
