The coins have been recorded separately as: LVPL-023DF0; LVPL-022CD8 and LVPL-01C2D2. As the find consists of two or more precious metal coins (silver in this case), it is potentially classifed under the Treasure Act 1996 and has been reported to the local Coroner.

An incomplete fragment from the frame of a cast copper alloy double loop buckle, with moulded surface decoration, of Post Medieval dating (c.1550 to c. 1650 AD). The frame fragment is sub oval in plan, and rectangular in cross section. The front exhibits moulded floral decoration. This decorative detail consists of an oval panel, with a double line border, and within the panel, a floral device. The back is plain and undecorated. An incomplete cast copper alloy signet finger ring, of Early Post Medieval dating (15th to 16th Centuries AD). The finger ring consists of an oval bezel, with part of the hoop. The hoop has a circular section and is incomplete. It extends 20.27mm below the bezel at the top part of the design and 17.53mm at the base of the design. The internal diameter of the ring is 20.21mm. The bezel is oval, with smooth tapered shoulders. It measures 20.88mm long by 15.75mm wide. The bezel is 3.91mm thick. A complete cast copper alloy double looped trapezoidal buckle of Post Medieval dating (1620 - 1680 AD). The buckle frame is sub rectangular / trapezoidal in plan, and rectangular in profile. The pin is present and is formed from a single sub-rectangular tapering length of copper alloy which is attached to the central bar by the end being folded to form an irregular 'wrap around' loop. A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball, of 17th Century dating. The lead shot is sub spherical in nature, displaying a couple of nicks and a small ridge, probably the remnants of the casting process. The shot exhibits a couple of areas of flattening, possibly the result of a collosion with a hard surface after firing. It is a mid to dark grey colour with an even surface patina. It has a diameter of 19.37mm and weighs 40.7 grams. Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.
