A complete wrought iron rectangular buckle frame and pin, of probable Medieval to Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1600 AD).
The buckle frame is sub rectangular in plan, and rectangular in profile. The outside edge is slightly curved. The pin is sub rectangular, with a tapering tip, and appears to have been wrapped around the strap bar.
The buckle is a mid to dark reddish brown in colour, with an even surface patina. The buckle is covered with a layer of iron corrosion (rust), which has resulted in a loss of surface detail. The corrosion layer appears to be relatively stable and not …

An incomplete wrought iron tanged arrowhead of Medieval dating (12th to 13th Centuries AD).
The arrowhead has a triangular blade, with a lentoid cross section. The tang is circular sectioned and incomplete.
The arrowhead is a mid brown colour, with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of surface detail. There is minimal surface corrosion product (rust) present.
The arrowhead measures 42.14mm in length, 11.25mm wide and 7.79mm thick. It weighs 5.3 grams.
