An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) button, of Post Medieval (17th Century) dating. The button is sub circular in plan, and convex (domed) in profile. The front of the button is relatively plain apart from a pronounced pellet located at the centre. Three less pronounced pellets are present surrounding the central one in a vague cross arrangement. A small notch has been removed from one side of the button. The back of the button is flat and undecorated. A depression is present in the centre, probably when the original attachment loop was. An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) spoon of post-medieval date (1700-1800). The fragment consists of the bowl and the upper part, where it joins the stem. The handle is missing, presumably lost in antiquity. The spoon has been cast in one piece. The bowl is a sub-ovoid shape (egg shaped) in plan and has a distinct concave (or U shaped) cross section. An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) scabbard chape of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1600 AD). The chape appears to have been cast as opposed to being formed from a sheet of white metal, folded and crimped into shape. It is is sub triangular in plan, and pentagonal in cross section. The chape is incomplete, with damage present around the mouth, indicating that it was originally longer. The tip / end of the scabbard is also pentagonal in shape, and is flat.
