A complete cast copper alloy chafing dish handle, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The handle is hexagonal in plan, with three opposing straight sides and three opposing inward curving (concave) sides. The cross section of the handle is rectangular. Neither side of the handle exhibits signs of decoration. The handle is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 54.09mm in length, 62.25mm wide and 4.83mm thick.
