An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring, of Roman dating (2nd to 3rd Centuries AD). The finger ring is approximately 50% complete, missing the back part of the hoop. The front part with intaglio setting is present. The intaglio is missing. The hoop is D section and flares at the shoulders into a wide flat bezel. A shallow recessed oval setting is present approximately centrally in the bezel, this would have been the setting for an intaglio, now missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic Roman brooch, in the shape of a swimming / sitting duck, of late 2nd Century dating. Approximately 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of the central back section. The base of the duck's neck is present, the head is missing. The feathers on the duck's back have been depicted by an enamelled panel. Two (2) sherds (one (1) rimsherd and one (1) bodysherd) of several wheel thrown ceramic vessels of a Romano-British miscellaneous (unsourced) local grey ware. The sherds vary in thickness from 5.86mm to 7.81mm. In total they weigh 59.4grams. The sherds have a dark grey reduced fabric. Subtle differences are present in the fabric types between sherds, which would indicate different sources of production.
