An incomplete sheet copper alloy buckle or clasp plate, of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1450). Approximately 45% of the buckle plate is present, consisting only of the front plate, with corners missing. The reverse plate is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The plate is sub rectangular in plan and rectangular in section. Four (4) circular perforations (holes) are present, two at either end. One has an internal diameter of 2.8 mm. An incomplete copper alloy rim fragment from a copper alloy large posnets or cauldrons of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700). The rim fragments are irregular in shape, but rectangular in cross section. The internal surface is smooth and polished. The rim type consists of a rounded lip. The exterior surface is unpolished and shows signs of finishing/filing. Sooting is present on the exterior of a couple of the fragments.
