A rim sherd of Medieval (1200-1500) glazed grey earthenware with traces of a green glaze on both inside and outside surfaces. The rim has an internal lip and external (double-moulding) cordon. It measures 48.82x23.98x15.98mm and weighs 19.09g. Teresa Gilmore, Staffordshire & West Midlands Finds Liaison Officer, comments: 'The rim type is fine for a Medieval jug or bowl (latter more likely), and it is probably 13th to 15th century in date.
