An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting / belt hanger, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The strap fitting consist of a sub triangular mount. In plan the mount is comprised of a tapering rectangle with an inward facing chevron shape at one end and a narrowed rectangular backward looping closed hook at the other. The hook is incomplete. An incomplete copper alloy symmetrical bar mount of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1600). The strap fitting consists of a oval plate, with a convex or domed top, with an integral attachment spike to the top and bottom. The front of the mount has been decorated with two horizontal lines, situated parallel to each other, located a third of the length in from either end. The strap fitting consists of a circular hollow-domed plate with, at one end a projecting collared debased trefoil attachment knop, and the other end is a close butted blunt hook, with a double rounded collar at the junction with the plate. A complete copper alloy strap loop / fitting, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1350 - c. AD1450). The strap loop is sub rectangular in plan, and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a trapezoidal frame with moulded decoration on the top surface. The decoration on the top is zoomorphic (animal like) in nature. The convex front is decorated with diagonal incised lines, either imitating fur or forming the scales of the cone. A complete copper alloy belt hook dating to the Post Medieval period, circa AD1600-1700. The object is a flat plate with a forward facing hooked projection. The plate is decorated with a moulded leaf decoration. The reverse of the hook is undecorated with two circular recesses. The recesses are probably some form of attachment.
