All are spherical in nature, with traces of a casting seam and sprue. No teeth marks or flattened areas are visible. Musket ball 1 has a diameter of 18.3 mm and weighs 33.9 g. Musket ball 2 has a diameter of 17.1 mm and weighs 28.7 g. Musket ball 3 has a diameter of 17.5 mm and weighs 31.1 g. Together they weigh 93.5 g. A cylrindrical lead shot of modern dating (19th to 20th Centuries) The lead shot consists of a flat circular base. Vertical grooves are present up the side of the shot, with a ridge at the top. The upper surface tapers upwards to a blunt point. It has a diameter of 13.7 mm and is 15.8 mm tall. It weighs 18.5 g (0.65 oz). The shot is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. A similar lead shot has been recorded as PUBLIC-A214A1 and is considered to be Modern in dating.

It weighs 29.5 g. The shot is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards). The lead shot is spherical in shape. Concretions are present on the surface, obscuring any original surface detail. A possible bite mark is present. It is a light to mid grey colour with an even surface patina. It has a diameter of 14.4 mm and weighs 15.3 grams. Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.

A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards). The lead shot is spherical in shape. A casting ridge runs around the middle of the shot. Two vertical grooves are present, but these are probably the result of post depositional damage. It is a light to mid grey colour with an even surface patina. It has a diameter of 12.8 mm and weighs 10.9 grams. Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.

A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards). The lead shot is sub spherical in shape. Flattening is present around the middle of the shot. Two semi circular depressions are present at one end, possibly tooth marks. It is a light to dark grey colour with an even surface patina. It has a diameter of 17.1 mm and a length of 17.5 mm, and weighs 29.7 grams. Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.
