Three complete lead musket balls or shot dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800), found in close promixity to each other. All are spherical in nature, with traces of a casting seam and sprue. No teeth marks or flattened areas are visible. Musket ball 1 has a diameter of 18.3 mm and weighs 33.9 g. Musket ball 2 has a diameter of 17.1 mm and weighs 28.7 g. Musket ball 3 has a diameter of 17.5 mm and weighs 31.1 g. Together they weigh 93.5 g. A complete lead alloy bar shot (dumbell shot), of Post Medieval dating (17th Century). The shot consists of two spheres of 15.4 mm diameter joined together by a short circular sectioned bar of 5.9 mm diameter. It does not appear as if the shot has been fired. It measures 31.4 mm in length and a diameter of 15.4 mm. It weighs 38.5 g. The shot is a light grey colour, with an even surface patina. A cylrindrical lead shot of modern dating (19th to 20th Centuries) The lead shot consists of a flat circular base. Vertical grooves are present up the side of the shot, with a ridge at the top. The upper surface tapers upwards to a blunt point. It has a diameter of 13.7 mm and is 15.8 mm tall. It weighs 18.5 g (0.65 oz). The shot is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. A similar lead shot has been recorded as PUBLIC-A214A1 and is considered to be Modern in dating.

A complete lead alloy shot or ball, of Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD). The shot is circular in shape, but both front and back are flattened, preventing it from being fully spherical. The attachment sprue is still present at the top of the shot, and the casting line from the mould is present around the edge of the shot. It has a diameter of 18.9 mm, and is 16.4 mm thick. It weighs 29.5 g. The shot is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina.
