An incomplete post-Medieval lead alloy pencil sharpener of 19th century date (c. 1850-c. 1900).
Most of the iron cutting blade is missing.
The lower part is hollow and roughly cone-shaped to house a pencil. It has a plain rim at the base and a vertical slot at the side. On the opposite side of the slot there are two raised circular panels. One is plain and the other contains an unclear monogram. The handle is flat and has a roughly semi-circular perforation. One side of the handle is plain and the other is decorated with annulets.

An incomplete cast lead pencil of uncertain dating, but probably Medieval to Post Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1600).
The stylus is circular sectioned, with a flattened, slightly expanded top. The other end exhibits knife cut facets, tapering to a point. A patinated break is present at the top of the stylus.
It measures 18.5 mm in length, with a diameter of 5.2 mm. It weighs 3.3 g.
It is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete cast lead pencil of uncertain dating, but probably Medieval to Post Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1600).
It is circular sectioned, with a break due to an air bubble created during the casting process. The other end is rounded to a blunt point. It measures 47.8 mm in length, with a diameter of 8.0 mm. It weighs 23.5 g. It is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete cast lead pencil of uncertain dating, but probably Medieval to Post Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1600).
The stylus is circular sectioned, with a flattened, slightly expanded top. The other end exhibits knife cut facets, tapering to a point. It has been folded in half.
