A incomplete cast copper alloy annular buckle (or possible annular 'ring' brooch) of medieval date (1200-1400). The buckle is circular in plan with a circular cross section. There is no evidence for a constriction within the frame of the buckle to which a pin would fit. Instead the pin is attached by a large loop which moves freely around the frame. An incomplete tinned copper alloy sub rectangular buckle and chape, of Post medieval dating (c.1690 to c. 1720). The buckle is a sub rectangular shoe or knee buckle, with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The frame has been decorated with three moulded transverse vertical ridges on either side of the spindle hole. An incised foliate design is present on the outer edge of each loop. The find consists of a folded sheet of copper alloy metal, with four surviving copper alloy rivets. The buckle plate is sub rectangular in plan, and irregular in cross section.
