An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type of Roman dating AD 80 to AD 120. Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow and part of the spring. The rest of the brooch is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The bow is angular and hump back, resembling a comma. It is broken around 1/3 of its length. The remains of the spring are still present behind the head. The reverse is undecorated. It measures 22.7 mm in length, 11.9 mm wide and 10.1 mm thick. It weighs 2.5 g. An incomplete copper alloy buckle, dating to the Medieval period, c. AD 1300 - c. AD 1400. Around 45 % of the buckle remains consisting of the outer edge of the loop. The axis bar, pin and rest of the loop are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The object is broadly D shaped. The outer edge has been decorated with a central triangle consisting of two raised diagonal rectangular strips joining to a point towards the outside of the buckle, forming a decorated pin rest. This identification has been done by comparing flan sizes, a threepence of Edward VI was the closest match. But a halfgroat of Mary I or threepence of Elizabeth I are other possibilities as well. An incomplete copper alloy spoon, of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1700 to AD 1900). Around 25% of the spoon is present, consisting of the handle and a small part of the bowl. Not enough survives of the bowl to indicate the shape of the bowl. The handle is rectangular and flat in shape. An incomplete maker's mark has been stamped on the handle. This possibly reads [ ]I ATHAM. It measures 64.3 mm in length, 13.3 mm wide and 6.1 mm thick. It weighs 11.3 g. The spoon handle is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete lead alloy bag or cloth seal, of probable Post medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The seal consists of two circular discs, joined by a rectangular strip. The top disc is circular with traces of writing around the edge. The inscription is incomplete but it is possible to read [ ]GOT[ ]. An incomplete silvered lead alloy, probable button, of uncertain dating but probably Post Medieval (AD 1600 to AD 1800). Approximately 25-50% of the button survives. It is sub oval in shape. The front depicts a long cross with rouletted edges. Traces of silvering survive in the recess. The back bears no design or feature. It measures 21.4 mm in length, 15.6 mm wide and 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 3.4 g. No direct parallel to this fragment was found at the time of recording. The style of the cross is more suggestive that it could be a button but this identification is not definite.
